Dr. Chris Romas is a native of Brazil, IN. He attended Indiana University in Bloomington where he graduated with a BS in biology. He then attended and graduated from the Indiana University School of Dentistry in Indianapolis. Dr. Romas received the Dean’s Gold Award for scoring 90% or better on both portions of the National Board Dental Examination. After receiving his DDS, Dr. Romas worked as an associate dentist before starting his own practice in 2008.
In order to stay on top of the ever-advancing field of dentistry Dr. Romas attends advanced continuing education courses and seminars, and is an active member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr. Romas and his wife, Alissa reside in Zionsville with their two children, Olivia and Owen. They are both active members of the community. Dr. Romas is a member of the Zionsville Optimist Club and a perennial fixture in the Zionsville Fall Festival and Parade.
When away from the office Dr. Romas enjoys spending time with friends and family, working on the family farm, doing home improvement projects, and playing fantasy football.
Kelly is a dental hygienist from Lawrenceburg, Indiana. She graduated from IU School of Dentistry in Indianapolis with an A.S in Dental Hygiene in 2017 and started practicing on the west side of Indy. During this time, she worked towards her Bachelors of General Studies with a minor in Health Education and graduated in May 2018. She began working at Romas Family Dental in August of 2019 and lives in Lebanon, Indiana. In her free time, Kelly enjoys hiking, thrift shopping, and spending time with her husband, AJ.
Chandra is on the administrative team at Romas Family Dental and has been with Dr. Romas since 2019. She grew up here in Boone County, in Lebanon. She attended Professional Careers Institute and received her Dental Assisting certificate in 2004. When not in the office, she loves spending time with family around a backyard campfire, attempting Pinterest crafts, or baking and decorating cakes. She and her husband reside in Whitestown with two young daughters.
Jodi is a dental hygienist from Carmel, Indiana and began her dental career in 1995 as a dental assistant when she graduated from IU School of Dentistry. Jodi attended dental hygiene school at Kellogg Community College in Michigan and graduated in 1999. She worked on the west side for 23 years for the same dentist until he retired and began working for Romas Family Dental in 2022. She lives in Brownsburg with her husband and 3 kids, and they enjoy travelling, following their kids’ sports, and spending time together.
Jana is a dental hygienist from Indianapolis, Indiana. She graduated from IU School of Dentistry in 2010 and has worked with Dr Romas since 2022. When Jana isn’t working she’s gardening, travelling, and tending to her chickens. She lives in Whitestown with her husband and 3 kids.
Dana is on the administrative team at Romas Family Dental and graduated from IU South Bend in 1997 with a degree in expanded dental assisting. Dana practiced for over 16 years prior to becoming a stay-at-home mom. She transitioned to the administrative team with Dr. Romas in 2022. She grew up in LaPorte, Indiana, but lives in Zionsville with her husband and 2 sons. Her boys are continually active in travel sports, so they stay busy!
Leah is an expanded functions dental assistant and has been working in dentistry for almost 30 years. She graduated from dental assisting school in 1994 and began working beside Dr Romas in 2022. When talking to Leah, you will hear about her menagerie of animals(bloodhounds, cows, chickens, goat, donkey). She lives on her family farm in Crawfordsville with her husband and teenage son, Tray. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her adult children Ashtin and Jobie and her two grandkids.
Shelley is an expanded functions dental assistant with over 25 years of experience and took her expanded training in 1999 from IU School of Dentistry. Shelley grew up in Johnson County, but resides in Thorntown. She began working with Dr Romas in January 2023. In her free time, Shelley spends time with her husband and 2 boys, they enjoy hanging out at home and attending sprint car races.
